We are a company dedicated to the design, manufacture and assembly of structural steel with the highest quality, technology and trained personnel for its development.

We have 238 administrative and technical employees, 770 workers for manufacturing and assembly. Adding a total of 1,008 employees.

Our manufacturing area is 35,000 m2 roofed and 6 hectares of land for maneuvers.

We have an installed production capacity of 6,000 tons per month.

Completed Projects

HISTORY

The company started in 1964 under the name of Marquesinas de Aluminio Ajax with only 6 employees and 200 m2 of land.
Founded by Mr. Jorge Martín Sebastiá.
The first works were blacksmithing.
In 1969, it changed its name to Manufacturas Metálicas Ajax and obtained the first relevant project for the Volkswagen plant located in Puebla.
In 1996 Ajax moved to a new plant located in Ecatepec, where production lines were installed to make the process more efficient.
The plant had 13 traveling cranes, 10 machines and had a production capacity of 2,500 tons per month.
In 1992, the first numerical control machine was acquired.
In 1999, TEKLA STRUCTURES was implemented to design the structure for the first time.
In 2014, Ajax moved to a new plant located in Cuautitlán Izcalli.
The new plant has administrative offices, engineering department, production plant and storage, adding to a total of 6 hectares.
Ajax is a founding and active member of the IMCA.
